DislikedHi All,
Can anyone please say what the outcome of the ADP would be (better or worse than expected)? I heard on Bloomberg that the number was high last time due to students registering for summer work. Could it be that this month the outcome should be better than expected?Ignored
DislikedHi Guys
According to PFXGlobal
ADP Nonfarm.... Expexcted = -20K
if figure is 0 K or more then = stronger USD
if figure is -35K or less then = weaker USD
Happy trading people...

Moe,
I hope I've not offended you with my curiosity, I don't mean to pry. My apologies if I have.
My approach to Forums such as these is that they can serve as an informative resource for many all the traders out there trying to make an honest living in what in reality is a very difficult game. Difficult, because over 90% of all currency traders lose their shirt in the first 6 months. the few percent that really do make money here are those who have mastered the 2 most important aspects of trading - their emotions and good money management.
to answer you're question, my long-term view on Cable is SHORT. Therefore my trading rules dictate that I only enter short positions. I may only place 2 trades a week per currency, but at least this way I give myself the freedom to be away from the screen for extended periods and live a life outside the market.
I've been in this game over a decade, read a lot of fantastic story's from other traders and wiped my account out twice. I've learned many painful lessons and as a result have created hard and fast rules that allow me to have a life - unlike that famous picture of someone’s trading room where the toilet acts as his desk chair.
Have a good dayIgnored
