Fact Two - There were $100,000 US Dollars placed in the Demo Account

Fact Three - I have now completed 166 FX trades since June 9, 2008

Fact Four - There has been 165 Winning FX Trades out of 166

Fact Five - The Gross Profit On All The Trades Closed Is $16,011.20 US

Fact Six - The Rollover costs are $1,241.47 US

Fact Seven - The Net Profit Is Now $14,739.72 US

Fact Eight - The Net Cash Demo Balance Is $114,739.92 US Dollars !

FACT EIGHT - The Position of 100K of USD/JPY that you mentioned was opened on June 9, 2008 and I have traded around it to generate the profits as shown above ! So Let Us See ? The Position at 106.24 you mention but of course you do not mention facts One To Eight !!!

So all I can say to you in closing is Peace Out Brother !

How about if you try to match my results ? Then WE can ALL Laugh Together

Yes, i think its finally here.

I dont understand why people would wanna do EURJPY (or GBPJPY for that matter).
Its obvious that EURUSD and USDJPY is not moving in sync. A better profiteering play is to trade the directional trend of these two (EURUSD and USDJPY) inversely. The profit potential is far better.

For those uninitiated, going long on USDJPY and EURUSD is equivalent to going long EURJPY.

The long term directional tend of USDJPY is DOWN
The long term directional trend of EURUSD is UP.
NOW WHY THE HECK ARE WE TRADING EURJPY when these two are not moving together?
From this, it is apparent that the carry trades are no longer alive for a very LONG time.

If i were to exploit YEN pairs, i would be short USDYEN and long EURUSD, SGDUSD, GBPUSD or whatever USD related pair. In essence i am reckoning you to....short the blardy dollar. Forget the Carry Yen pairs, they no longer have the engine.

I'm still on the bearish side for the near term. USD/JPY is floating around 200sma and Tenkan link of Ichimoku. There is so much selling pressure around this level althogh it succeeded to break the 200ema before the FOMC meeting but again failed to hold above it. Because of that, I can't turn bullish unless it comes down to the major trend line. Based on the huge selling after the FOMC, some big boys seemed to get out of their long positions. It's now trying to climb up again but I would be cautious about going long.

We're at the 38 FIB of the retracement - and close to the daily pivot.
I'm showing the 50 FIB at 108.05 - not sure we'll make it all the way, but time will tell

I agree with ya - we'll eventually have to come touch that trend line again. After the retracement is done though

Hello everyone,
I have been absent from Forex Factory and the whole forex world for a while. I have had a lot of things in my life cause me not to be able to trade not only money but time as well. I have attempted to continue trading with demo accounts but havent been able to focus for some reason. I think maybe God wanted me to do other things for a while. Anyway after a long absence I was compelled to contact a friend of mine via skype who mentioned the U/J Thread. I was spurred to begin re-learning everything having to do with pivots and trends via Dove from a long time ago. My first task was to read through the U/J thread. Long story short I continued reading until recent posts and to my surprise here are all of my old friends. Trader07, KGB, Gunslinger, polish trader, etc. (I know I missed some people.) And most especially to my surprise is my friend Dove-Alliance. Dove I'm glad to see you back, how have you been?? I hope all is going well and I hope to reconnect. Back toUJ thread daily now Cheers.

Bruce,

Are you bragging about a demo account? That's not funny its just pathetic. Enjoy that virtual profit! One other thing, if you lose in a demo account, how much money do you actually lose?

Warren that is a good record, but seriously lets take into account that it is a demo account. You can't come on here bragging about your results ask if anyone can match them, and then say it is a demo account.

When you start taking the trades live and have 166 straight trades without a loss I will give you all the credit in the world. You and I both know Warrenforex that a live account is a whole nother animal.

Come back with live results.

Demo is like t-ball... Real is the Major League...
It's the psychological factor... not the trading system that people struggle with when trading live...

The results are good for sure, but again like you said it is another ballgame live money. I am thinking about setting up an account that everyone can see what trades are taken live. Start out with a balance of 1k or so. I think I will do it. Then everyone can see the proof is in the pudding.

Peace out
