I'm not sure I understand this "market is dead" talk and talk of shorts. I see a very healthy momentum thrust to the north. Maybe I'm just mental. ;-)

Can't beat a healthy north bound thrust

I suppose it's all about time scale and yes it's there ok

But looking at daily charts, I don't see us out of the channel by more than a nano something

A decline in the dollar might trigger oil producers to boost prices (That doesnt hit Europe/Asia if they buy in USD), so I wouldnt be surprised to see Bernake panky supporting the USD and that would throw the charts/news traders into a tizwoz

trendline coming up around 1.9775... A daily close above that would be helpful for the longs.

LOOOL. Been sleeping, thinking about how I was bang on about the movements of today then I wake up to find a pretty sick 100pip jump in the price.

That's quite a nasty whipsaw on the 19:15 BST candle. So who took a chunk out of the short and the recent long today?

Talking about whipsaws, has anyone done any concrete research into the basic themes behind them and patterns that arise before, during and after a major news release?

Ive got market testing that falling Tl and have taken half my profit here.Ive got 9964 as the high but really need to see the close to see if thats possible.
I must admit i thought my Sl was to be triggered earlier in the day when price fell.
