No need to cross your fingers now dw. Getting to FTT (Free Trade Target) is what's its all about. Now if you want to move to break even, thats fine, if you want to close now for some profit , that's fine too. That's the beauty of a DIBS trade, you can play it to meet your style of trading. As long as you stick to the basic DIBS set up, you'll be fine.

TSK, I am in Europe so 5 GMT for me is 7am and I prefer to take trades after that, as you said volume picks up then, this morning swissy formed an IB right on my time line, so I took it, if it had been any earlier I personally would have ignored it, just my preference.

Hi,
I wonder what is your SL method in winning trades. Once the trade is 1:1, you close 50% of the position, and let it ride. But what about the SL? Don't you move it to BE or TS ?
I'll be glad to see your comments.

Jaroo whats your personal take on taking daily IBs that appear for example yesterday's bar was considered an IB. This week is considered a down week for the cable, it is also a down month.

I've only tried once on the eurusd.. but sure isn't for the faint hearted who likes to set to break even once the criterias pop up.

for daily Ibs u have to be prepared to set a huge stopp loss

you shift it to break even immediately and enjoy your stress free ride.

Don't rue gains which you didn't get, jus be glad you minimised your risk and lost nothing.

This is one way to play a DIBS trade. Peter and myself like to leave the free trade on until it stops out. Or should I say "IF" it stops out. Can you imagine being in a long term trade that's up 758 pips and you only risked 18 pips to get in it? Well I've been there, and it's a whole lot of fun.
