Holly shit! I'd find other means of transportation at that price. When I started driving, I remember gas was $.75 per gallon!

When I was a student in US previously the gas only cost 0.65 per gallon. One can afford to use Ford Torino to the class....

My day job is in retail. I own two businesses. May was a better then expected month for us in South Africa as well. If you look at US Retail figures last week they were good too. BUT this month June (so far) is VERY Bad for us. I have found that the world trends together in retail. If we are doing bad the world does bad (not because we are doing bad, just retail in general) so if this month carries on like it is, next month when they release figures I will be short!

World wide fuel is getting very expensive. World wide food prices are going through the roof. World wide inflation is a problem at the moment. Just one small world we live in.

Unleaded petrol is about $8.30 per US Gallon in the UK...the differential between it and diesel has shot up from 1% to 10% (i.e. diesel is relatively much more expensive now.)

I've been short since 1.9686, should I get out of this? It just broke through my Fibo, which isn't a very good sign... but I don't want to panic, get out of the trade, only to have it go the other way right after.

If I could answer that question I would like to repeat it this month again!? I have tried to find the answer but nothing. Our group launched a new product on the 13th May did a lot of extra advertising. So I thought we were the only ones having a better month! But apparently the hole world was having a better month. I duplicated the advertising this month but still sales are down. CNN reported Wednesday morning that UK retailers are also having bad June to date.
