Sadly does not work that way, his reasoning might be 100% spot on, but the longer the trade is in the more chance of something changing to upset this.

If he plays the same game, always holding for 3000pips with a 200pip SL, 99.99% of the time he will be stopped out, 0.01%'s happen but not often definately not a sensible gamble!!

Bet he won't mention the 99.99% of his trades that fail, just the winner.

* not getting at you by the way, just statistics and human nature, brag about the winner ignore the 1000's of losers *

Salah, it's just there are no guarantees, my short term plays have very high odds of wining, even then I'm only getting around 75% win ratio at best I really don't think more is possible.

I personally refuse to pay the geppy spreads to, forget that !!

Currently I think after Bernanke speach, it is clear that USD is positive and holding pretty much and that is why USD/JPY is on the upward direction.

Actually the UK news came out good so I am not clear how Pre-UK trading (1:00 am - 3:00 am) is going to respond for Bernanke speach. I don't have any position but I am not sure when is a good time to enter into a trade and what direction. Because the damagae has already been done in Asia and according to the fundamental there could be an upward direction during pre-UK trading....
