Cable just doesn't seem to any strength despite good data. Shot up and came back down promptly.

when I look at the clock I forgot about gbp news and Im in long.
I keep regretting what a careless trader.but it seems I beat the news again I close my post at 1.978*.
Looks like luck with me
but If I keep repeating this habit maybe I gonna make a major loss.
so what you think cable head to..we still have gap at 1.980* but tht cant be an analysis.I think it maybe go higher but I quit now.

High inflation means it's less likely that BOE will cut interest rates further, even though they are faced with sluggish economy and would like to lower rates to stimulate it. That just means stronger GBP.

I am going to have to disagree with you on this one. I think GBP is getting weaker yet.

The price action validates that cable is getting weaker. But as a principle, when inflation is high in a country, the country's currency will strengthen because of more likelihood of rate hike instead of rate cut. That's why CPI is a most watched event in the calendar. In the case of cable, it doesn't follow the usual PA. That's why cable is very unusual in many ways.
