Daytrading,

that last bar (EUR/USD) I took a screenshot was colored until German news... then it crossed the limit of the previous and the indicator changed the color to the default.

My friend and I seem to have the problem that the indicator (once it's on the chart) will not draw any new IB's. (it will show tho old ones up to the point of putting on the indicator)

Which indicator are you using? top right corner of each thread is a paperclip, hide the images and you will find a few variations on the IB indicator, i find that the in&out works well.

Thanks guys for your replies.

I am to check them out on a low time frame on several different platforms at present.

I will come back when its clear whether they work on mine.

My friend uses ODL and he has problems. (so have I, but I am also using Alpari, MIG, Velocity and FX pro)

I just took 50% off both before BOE announcement.

New IB on GBPUSD ready to trade at 1.9462 - if indeed price heads that way.

I like this kind of trade management too... it was posted earlier by MPP...

Now I got what could be happening... If you don't change your chart TF the indicator doesn't change the color... Try to jump to any other TF and get back to the one you're trading (kind of "reloading" the chart) and the indicator may have changed...

Hmmm.... I guess that's where there's some support for EUR. Actually pretty easy to spot on the daily chart. see 5/8/08.

Bye bye to that trade! My b/e was 1.0384. My only consolation (besides no loss) was that I wasn't the very bottom tick, so I'm not the biggest sucker... that guy had his stop at 1.0383! I considered bailing after the decisive break of the 21 EMA, but I figured I'd wait for a close. Sometimes that's the right call... but not today.

ps- I love this game!

Just my opinion . . . let your trade play out. If you would have bailed out at that break and Price took off you would be kicking yourself.

I caught this one.

The hourly DIBS didn't give a very clear signal and HouseTrader gave me the idea to look at the 4 hour and Daily DIBS. I saw that the 4 hour IB had already broke but the Daily IB had not.

I enter at 206.45 and then Price broke the Daily IB at 206.60 and just set my s/l at 30 pips. I'm now in a free trade.

Setup on U/J coming up and it looks even more solid as it will most likely close as a double low higher close. I wouldn't try to take it past the resistance though as that is long withstanding. Just a quick profit with minimal risk.
