I'm currently short G/U w/1.9960 as my s/l. Not sure if I should cut & run now & put a E/U long at 1.5815 or wait it out.

Running the EU up hugely could be a trap, reasoning.

It's easy to run up a Price after hours when the volume is low, this could create the buyers they want to enable them to sell / short.

So direction after this is really any ones guess, but it'll likely be fierce.

The template from page 4037 have yellow lines that are located on 1.9953 uppers limits and 1.9913 lower limits; using current time. This template was given by Traderjr.

The template Traderjr. gave previously labeled "Abuawad current" have different yellow line with upper yellow limits of 1.9807 and lower yellow limits of 1.9867 in regards to current time.

Im not sure which one is correct (im assuming the latest one on page 4037 is correct), but the recent format gives us entries about 12 hours Miami Florida time; AND THE PREVIOUS FORMAT STILL KEEPS US IN THE YELLOW NO MANS LAND.

TRADERJR, ABUAWAD, CAN YOU HELP ME WITH THIS, WHICH FORMAT SHOULD BE USED, AND OR IS IT SOMETHING I DOING INCORRECTLY ON MY MT4 FORMAT.

I CURRENTLY AM GOING TO USE THE TEMPLATE FROM PAGE 4037.
Templates are dated as to their intended day-of-use as of yesterday (07Apr08) onwards.

All my results are based on data from Alpari UK who use CET. UK went into DST 30Mar08, Australia (where I am) went out of DST 06Apr08. My trial of Abuawad's method started 31Mar08. The method worked all last week and yesterday.

Abuawad say all Forex servers are synchronised wrt H4, regardless of timezone. You should check this for your own case.

Abuawad says H1 is used only for getting "clues" as to what to do rather than as an entry signal. H4 is used for the entry signal.

I think the pair (GBP/USD) might go up during tonight session as it has already high as 1.9931 and the London News will be coming at its first hour that will take the pair up to 1.9990+ I think the trend for tonight is UP

I think I will observe the market for tonight and wait until it goes up around 2.0050+ then I will take short may be by tomorrow morning. What do You think guys?

I think you may be right as my indicators on many time frames are showing up. I went short last night and was/am hoping to be able to ride it out, but I'm starting to lose confidence.

I am brand new to forex trading and have no idea how to read any charts or look for any indicators. But I am helplessly stuck in a very low short position with GBPUSD. Most people have been saying that the pair is headed down, but today it looks like it's going the other direction. All the experienced traders on this site have been reading the charts wrong? Or is there something that's fueling this? What's the real direction for cable today? Any advice is welcome. Thanks to all.

I would like to give you my opinion as for couple of months I have traded based on the London news and I can tell you for tonight session Hallifax news is coming up which might take the pair up to 1.9990+ but that might be a temporary up because it would have to go down due to BOE news on Thursday. I think EUR/USD is fueling GBP/USD becaue they are both real brothers. Whenever EU goes up GBP goes up and whenever EU goes up then GBP goes up and around 2:00 am Central time it might get fuel from Halifax news because this time the consesus statement is positive about the news.

The market can easily trade within 1.9833 - 1.9961. With a little bit of luck it can reach 1.9570.
