Hi All

many website and brokers have demo account competition but real account competition is uncommon

I like to start my poll and know how many people like Real account competition and are ready for real account competition?

You don't mention what the minimum starting account balance would be for the $10,000 prize. It makes a big difference. When I gamble in Vegas I set myself a daily limit to avoid disasters. If the minimum balance on one of these contests is about the same as a days gambling losses I'd enter. Not to demonstrate trading skills but to try to win a prize gambling. To finish in the money you have to have very good luck as well as trading with extreme risk. IBFX has a mini competition every month. Many people loose more than 90% of their account in the first few days. You need to aim at 400% or more to win in a 1 month contest. In my opinion if you do all you can to win, you can expect to refund your small real account most of the time.

In my opinion, the only competition in trading is only against yourself.

Yes only if everyone competing are using the same rules and strategies.
As well as experience levels are matched us as well. Prizes are good too.
