Yeah it shoulda made it dump 100pips easy, instead down 30pips, eur down 70pips at best, UJ + 50pips at best. interesting.

no real confusion here guys, ADP report is somewhat derided as not being a very good indicator to ADP, despite it's recalculation in the latter half of last year when it was wildly out. It's upwards revision to Feb # and the positive +8k against -23k prev and -45k expected is being seen as potentially $ positive so some mild $ buying on back of it.

So shouldn't put much hope in 12hour holding @9800 then and go for a long then.

turveyd: I promise you that your 12period Sma on 1hr chart will have no bearing at all on those who move this market, it is purely coincidental. The only ma's that the market movers may take notice of are the 100 and 200 on the daily,...pobably, lol.

Someone mentioned a 62ema earlier, I forget which time frame,...the same applies

720sma on M1 chart to be exact, disagree back tested it and forwarded tested it hugely, 90min, 6hour 12 hour and 24hour all kick butt if used correctly, the trick is using them correctly ofcourse.

12sma on H1 chart is wildly in accurate and does not work, proving to some effect, that 12hour sma's work.

24hour is the strongest of the pair though, read highest odds of acting as S/R.

Daily for stocks Funds used 9sma, 20ema, 50sma 200sma I used to trade off that system and a envelope, seems to follow through on forex to, been 6years since I used it on stocks or something crazy though.

Made me alot of money, before i got bored moved into options, made a stack of money, then got gambly and blew the account in huge market turn inside of 2days Most gone in the gap up before trading opened

Ahhh to have went long not short, i'd of turned my £6000 into 100K inside of 2 weeks

Navin, your 62EMA just called the top of GU perfectly, infact I can see SO many times it's worked and very few it's failed having a scroll back, thanks I'll add that to my system

Within 10pips on euro to, seeing no relevance recently in UJ though.

Must better trending system than the 24hour on it's own.

Yep Salah and why volume is so slow going into his speach!!!

Wish i had Nav's 62hour earlier one, woulda increased confidence in taking a short near the highs hugely for 90pips max profit EU, 40 GU.

where to now?

i'm in a trade that i don't know if i should take my sl or to wait till bernake speach...

i am on -450$.. my sl it's on 500$.. should i move or should i take my sl?

i think in 2~4 h cable will be back before the news and go up..

what u guys say?

Nav, add 6sma, 12sma and 24sma onto your 1hour chart *4 for 15min chart even better, you'll see alot more trades and no need for much line drawing as they work better than most other stuff around and self adapt.

Stop under the low of the day, also 24hour sma, 90min is in a downtrend and capping it thus far so not perfect but likely your best shot.

risk 50 to make back 450 maybe, good logic atleast.

The R1 pivot has been holding well, I still read the direction for cable down, but with caution, and short it atm, actually just coverred shorts on the pivot at 9792. I got a short order pending below the 9720 level, if and when cable gets there. If so I shall build a short position down to early 9400ds, or even lower. Shying from long position atm, as I detect still a downward direction, though question it on 4hr DiNaploi settings.
