I am still in a short on the downtrend, momentum is slowing as price consolidates along the monthly pivot. I will be keeping a close eye on that trend line area too. Speaking of the monthly, it looks like we have hit a 132 fib and April may be a down month.

Gold is under 890... That's bad for eur/usd. For example, look at the last week: when usd felt to the 1.53 gold was higher than 900, so that gave a chance that usd will grow, but now gold is under the level, so i think eur/usd will go to the 1.5
Ignored
I hope it will go below 1.5 ...

Started toying with the Fib arcs... plotted one first on the rebound from 562 to 568 and seen it rise more or less within the arc and then break out down and fall back to 562 and another 60 pips which is about the radius of the arc plus more or less in line with the line going to the cnter (it's in the options in Oanda). Well this rebound to 562 looks like somewhat like an arc as well, wonder how this works out..

News:
EUR/USD (1.5590)
European & US sessions forecast levels: 1.5485/1.5670
Trend Sessions: European: Neutral/Downward
US: Neutral
Market Focus: 8:15 AM ADP Employment, 10:00 AM Factory Orders, 4:00 AM EU PPI.
Daily Strategy: The recovery of the dollar was based on combination between profit taken and the crisis in UBS bank. The subprime crisis from United States will come in Europe, as the first hit bank is UBS. At this time many traders fast to take their profits as sell euro against dollars. For today the recovery of the dollar will continue as this recovery can continue with another 200 pips gain against the euro. On the other side is expecting new worse US non-farm payrolls data at the end of the week that will stop the dollar recovery. The trading strategy is opening short positions during the European session

JP MORGAN

* EURO/DOLLAR: "The USD has picked up where gold left off. The failure of gold and oil to follow through euro/dollar on its run to $1.5900 tipped the markets hand and the break yesterday of $900 in gold has triggered further gains in the USD across the board. We are now back around the mid-point of the EUR/USD range and that means there is plenty of room for noise and whippy trading on the way back to the range lows at $1.54/1.53."

COMMERZBANK CORPORATES & MARKETS

* EURO/DOLLAR: "Near term $1.5694 now looks to resist the market ahead of further corrective losses to test the recently highlighted 27 day moving average study (currently located at $1.5503). For the moment we cannot discount a deeper correction of the previous 24th March 2008 low at $1.5340 before recovery

Euro$ looks heavy. Before it would have bounced, but now id still pressing on the support area. Still a possible rally to the pivot to get a running start. If it don't reach the pivot, and continues down, then the move is even stronger then it looks.

I think we might enter an indesicision area for a while like at the break of the uptrend into a triangle below 1.5... Let's wait and see, that uptrend support is pretty strong as it looks now..

Good ADP #s for US... EU headed to 1.54 territory? I just picked up 35% in a couple minutes, looking for break of 1.5560 to continue downtrend.

Brent looking indecisive at the moment... Big Oil trying to keep it above 100?

I don't know if it will happen. Charts say sideways to up at the moment for long channel - up (Purple), mid wedge with time to spare, but bottom line almost same as long trend (Yellow) & short time lines up even with drop (Red/Green). Big oil basically told the US to stuff it yesterday. Maybe there buying there oil in Euro's from profit overseas and making more with the exchange. I watch WITC pricing, it seems to follow (or is it lead) the E$ closer. Oil seems to have changed it dance with the E$ as I'm writing this. E$ dropped 60+ pips & oils (101.34) is still between high (102.18) & low (100.70).
