I know... I think it's more the anticipation of being able to cash in on an "overdue" retrace. But then again EU is full of illogical moves, so it wouldn't surprise me one bit if it jumped up to 5350 today. I just keep looking for a strong signal that retrace has begun, then it's just a matter of enjoying the ride.

1,5211. EUR USD is in an uptrend supported by 1H exponential moving averages. EUR USD is in a consolidation after the last bullish movement. The volatility is low. Bollinger bands are flat. ForexTrend 1H, 4H, daily (Mataf Trend Indicator) is in a bullish configuration. The price should continue to move in 1,5150 / 1,5270 range. If the resistance is broken then the target will be 1,5400 (190 pips).

try to avoid the E.U pair.. you see UJ,EJ,AU.. i was long there.. USDCHF also went long and EU came down.. and stalled around pivot.
as i said earlier not good time to trade this pair.. let it establish the trend then jump in.
DOW is -60 points left only.. They are pushing USD.. because they know big downward moves ahead in future for usd.
specially against Yen. so we are only in little bullish correction of USD.. it will be weaker soon.

I blame super skunk no 2 for causing me to close my EURAUD too early.

Almost 300 pip move from my entry now, and I dumped on a fraction of that...what a ma-roon.

At least u didn't lost TIckerShuffl.

Watching eu here, i see a diamond formation.

Is it valid?.. i don't encourage trading patters, but on different trading systems that i'm watching i've seeing a shorting opportunity, so this pattern is like a + to my judgement.

But i'm in shock over the earlier lost so i don't trade until i'm over with.

SS #2 !!! mmmmmmmmm I know my HG has caused a few missteps, as well. At least it was still a profitable position, even though you may have missed some.

I read somewhere (not sure where) that, "Not taking a profit is better than losing." In this respect, I consider your move a good one. K+

Hey Eye, trust me I got clobbered a few times past few months. I have had at least three positions that turned out like yours and one much worse. The goal is to live to fight another day.

Good luck with your analysis. Lots of news this week though, leaving me a little gun shy and confused on direction for now.
