I think it is supposed to go for last run above 1.52.. but I won't bet too much, I will take tiny profit of the long and wait for that spike high to get short (medium term entry)..

Definitely looks like the bulls are losing steam, at least temporarily. But who knows which minuscule news event will trigger a 200-300 pip rally. I'm hoping to see EU land around 5050 and take a nice elastic bounce up to 54 territory. I'm blind when it comes to this prediction thing, though, just like the rest of us (no matter how much evidence supports our theories). happy pipping

some times you have to sit back and let the market decide what it wants to do. If the market is uncertian how can we be?
We can't decide the direction for it. And any positions made at this point are a gamble at best.

Well... I think we are at the top of the roller coaster for the following reasons:

1) Daily, Weekly and Monthly Stochastic are all over 90.
2) US finally had some good news for once.
3) Buffet has finally said what everyone but the Fed and Bush seems to know Buffet says US in recession
4) The news out is more positive for US and negative for Euro than the past week (RSS Feeds below I use for my program).

How far will it go? Here are the stops, 1.5150 1.5029, 1.4928, 1.4847, 1.4500, 1.4079, 1.3389 & 1.2265?

I could be wrong, but this is what I'm seeing.

Im wondering, did someone notice, that tommorow we will have OPEC Meeting, which will be very important for oil as well.

There is a possibility, that they will discuss about extremely high oil prices, during it, oil shoot down and drag Gold with itself. What does this mean?

That means EU down, becouse Gold and EU movements are similar to each other, so guys, for how long are you going to keep your longs?

Looks like we are on agreement at least that dollar is nearing a bottom (EURUSD /GBPUSD toppish)

That's cool.. lets take them down.

I closed my long from 90's now. and I am just waiting for a top to show itself.. if not, I am not taking shorts until there is really good reason for it.

It would be great to touch top @ 15260 during Fed's speech, then short.

About 250 pips should come into a pocket, unless Bernanke will decide to start strenghtening dollar from now

Thanks for the Alert,
well today Bernank talk on mortgage foreclosures will be interesting. and then this weekend the KEY will be ECB monetary policy meeting...
and every one is expecting .50% rate cut from USD also.. Yes correction in on its way. We might see 1.4950 maximum down.. last rally still ahead towards 1.5320 and then 1.5465 ..
above Events wil show us some direction hope so..

1.5167/1.5232 this is the range to watch!

I am short at 1.5262 and now at 1.5220.

My 4H system went to bearish side.

My view:
Short every time price go to 1.5230 level, we may see a nice up move anytime this week to 1.5270 area or even 1.53, but my view is that this week will be definitely the start of a big drop, then around 1.4850/1.49, bears and Bulls will fight to see where will go.

Good luck guys

Edit: my 5min system is telling me, DROP, DROP, nice 35/40 pips drop is coming!

CLosed short middle of night last night for +15 pips, not sure what to do here.

Daily is making a flag, that looks like it might continue to the upside. Sure has not given much to the downside.

I am fearful to dollar bull news, but really is that possible?

Longing here for a few...

Edit: Bollinger band are tight as a drum, something going to happen real soon.

hmm this going roll over (bounce off upper bb) or break through...

Edit closed long for +1 pip. Want to be on sidelines for coming announcements. I am having a good week so far, no need to do something too risky to erase my gains. Seems like something is capping the action for now.

Compare the weekly of GBPUSD and EURUSD, I am starting to consider the possibility of a similar top experienced in GBPUSD at 2.12 has been manifested in EURUSD at 1.53...I know it's a huge stretch, but 1200 pips to the downside feasible? naaaa

That's been a possible scenerio. Cuts in the face of higher inflation just to contain commodity prices and stimulate exports.
