Im thinking absolutely the same bloody thing ..i always buy on a high, problem with forex ..u might not get the dip

I love when this cable becomes predicted. Now we are en route to a test in the 2.0 area where a top and reversal will occur. (Probably!)

That Fed blokes speaking at the moment isn't he, so likely best to sit it out ( my plan ), guarantee he'll say something, 5seconds after I enter a trade for that instant stop out effect

Not seeing the strength to even clear 1.9900 ( doh! )today CT, missed your 1.9750 entry by 10pips or something didn't it, typical!!

Well. Yes. You might not. Basically ze question iz on wich timeframe??? Basically I trade off the daily and watch for the dips on the hourly or 15 min.

I am working on the assumption that they are ALL going to cause us untold suffering and we will all be demeaned and disrespected and sworn at eventually - so i got a pretty one so that there is some compensation at least while all that is going on

anyway gbp looks like its gained but it hasnt much vis a vis the dollar index - so i will back a long on gbp as soon as there is an entry point

keeping my short on euro/dollar as 'the taller they are the harder they fall'

now there is a new trading strategy - but you have to buy when eveyone says its over and finished and stay out of it

remember they said houses were for 'nesting and not investing' in 1995 - but 12 years later I have a 200% gain on my UK house - yes buy when everyone else says dont

and the same with sell


nobody says sell euro right now so I am having a bash - for a long term trade

Oh yes, I missed the entry. but from there it should top out at 2.0200 or 2.0400 area in the coming few weeks.

No problem! I will take the short side when it enter the 2.0 mark again for the hard dive.

Thats what I was told when I thought I'd try 1, sadly it's a myth there all the same, so might aswell get 1 that looks good when she's nagging the life outta you

CT, there are too many variables to accurately predict 15mins out, which about where I'm aiming for, for weeks out there are way to many variables to even consider it for me.

I keep asking why people see the USD as such a brilliant prospect for the future and nobody ever tries to justify it - but they keep saying the GBP is over valued against USD

The GBP shorters are so intent on wishing bad times on GBP that they fail to realise that this is a vote of confidence in the future of the USD

Now without mentioning the GBP and it's supposed ills, what is good about the future of the USD and the American economy as a whole ?

GBP shorters have to address that question and they are blind if they don't

They certainly are - all this Bernanke stuff is pure panic - 2 weeks ago everyone was gloating and saying how lucky the US is to have a system which responds so fast with rate cuts and in a couple of months the expansion will be back under way...

Now the awful truth dawns that the cuts were panic and not the solution to the recession which is looming large. Most large companies in the US have hiring freezes and most have capital freezes too. The IT consultants have staff 'sat on the bench' and the stats have not caught up with how bad it is in the US like they lagged 7 months on UK housing

This thing is only just starting - ok off to sell some shares !
