That was a pleasant trip up and I am having a ginger biscuit to celebrate - but the Euro is faltering so I am taking some time out
Damn if I was trading today
From 1.9709 to 1.9611 = +98 & from 1.9611 to 1.9650 = +39
Total= +137

Good to hear, what targets are you aiming for ?
Measure twice, cut once
cable have a respect to 50% fibo.... but it will tested for a while....
and might pull back.....to south...

don't trust me.... just my opinion..

damn if i trade everyday buy at the lowest point and sell at the highest point i would become richer than soros in a few years time.

there is always many chances in this market ... i short @ 1.9628 and closed @ 1.9600 nice 28 pips in 5 lots == it was good amount to me

check my analysis for yesterday and today also the rule i follow and you will know what i'm talking about
can anybody tell me meaning by this " previous 78.4, forecast 79.00. " is that mean the trend will be up? and " previous 149.9 billion, forecast $67.9 billion " means the trend will be down??

i believe that means that this report is bad for US currency so gpb/usd should travel upwards.

it depend on the actual & what kind of news do you read...

some news have positive effect when increase...
but some news have a negative effect....
read carefully,,,,

I am just scalping - anything could happen - but when euro and gbp agree and start something moving smoothly, I jump on for a while (either way)- so long as there is no news about

I learned my lesson when the US jobs fell and just because the US is going bad does not mean the dollar will be down

I think there are some invisible flip flops lines where the rule changes - up to a point, bad US news is dollar bad, but if the news is too bad then the dollar is the reserve currency etc etc junk comes into play and the USD rises

So the trick is to know the points where the rules change 180 degrees

Can we say that the movement of cable/$ today is utmost conducted by the direction of the carry trade pairs: GJ and GC? coz as i observed for a long time, once the equity market slump, these two pair will just drag down for 100+ pips and cable/$ will also decline for 50+ pips.

Is my observation true? can any veteran like Mr. Jacobtrader and Mr. Allserene tell me that or even correct my understanding? thanks alot~:

The technicals still suggest bearish pattern for GBP/USD..
Let see how it goes.
