i still believe that UK will go into a recession and that cable will hit new lows i mean its the same symtoms as those of the US i october. look at wat happened to the dollar.

Remember that a short on GBP is a vote of confidence in the USD - a sobering thought - a credit maxed country with twin deficits and with a 1.5% interest rate (to come) and a socialist candidate in first place is going to attract buyers to it's beaten down currency ?

Everything is relative, and predicting the UK economy without predicting the US situation is no help when predicting currency flows

your absolutely right but i mean the US numbers r turning out better than expected while the UK numbers are worse than ever so i mean fundamentally speaking cable should start its bearish movement any time now.
but technically speaking it looks like it might hit the 1.9770 resistence so im really not sure wat to do.

I just heard a booming sound - I thought it was a plane taking off from Tampa airport but I think it was some short accounts blowing up !
