The Daily has a nice channel formed .... lower ..... I would be surprised if the direction changes soon and there will be consolidation before it happens also. I see this continueing for a while. But what do I know with this pair. Just learning ... and the answer is very little. IMO

I see no reason to fight the Daily trend ....... News or technicals .... Looks like the latter wins out. The real News is usually not even told. The News is always gauged at where expectations are set at ..... and not actually how good or how bad the News really was. News creates good trading opportunities but it is not necessarily as it appears and we all know that. Good trading everyone! IMO

time not posting calls here .

gu rally to the downside is overextended in my opinion.
taking a long with minilots in the short term to target at least 1.95....

could go more negative but willing to take more longs every 100pips down.
euro is holding..... that can help gu in the way up.

Yes for anyone who thinks about news and fundamentals it's a strange time.

I have an unproven theory that this will cause a strong bounce back up when it does come

BOE and Fed are playing games with their announcements - BOE trying to talk the gbp down despite high interest rates still, and Fed trying to talk USD up despite lowering rates drastically

So far it's working

WE have CNBC talking about 1000 points up on the DOW and chartists saying 1000's down.

All the company news USA is bad and more interest rate cuts on the horizon and the usd climbs and climbs

It has slightly deflated me as I can't work in a logic vacuum for too long

Some people believe every market move is logical if you dig deep enough - well it's logical that illogical people want their money in the US economy right now I suppose and that makes the situation logical.

Everybody is moving out of US stocks - are they going to accept 2% in the bank or move the dosh overseas ?

It has to see 1.99 before it sees 1.82 I reckon

and ecb, now turning to dovish....
thats helping the usd, but 1.40 to 1.47 its going to be ranged for awhile...
usa economy is not roses also.....

I think US Elections this year are playing a role here and we should not forget this. They're trying to put on a good show for the public for now ..... and afterwards the USD TANKS into the Great ABISS, and turns into an Amero. Polititians are so happy to destroy the Dollar... but not yet! It is so not a mystery what they are doing here with the USD. IMO

I agree with you bro, but actualy it's just a psycholigical thing, becouse new president will not change economy with a few month or years despite that, now it looks exactly the same
