well, can i put the current issue aside and ask a question to all forex veterans? Ok I just jump out of trading tonight given the volatile market and BOE announcement day. In medium term can we envisage a retracement before the long term decline come in place? coz even the 1/4 percent rate cut is already priced, the difference in rate is still so obviously and attractive btw GBP/USD.

What stops cable going up with rate cut? It went up with US rate cut because cut was priced in before announcement!

I dont know guys... My personal opinion is becouse rate cut is already priced in, 0.25 cut would strenghten pound, so cable should go up, only 0.50 would kill him. So i wish good trade for all of you, im still holding my long from 1.9516.

Hello FX, i see in this zone a lot of support, trend line channel, 76% of wave 1, equality a-c, but defenatly to soon to go long, cause pric went back in to the channel.
