you better hedge or close to cover your losses, its going up because it can ONLY go up.

im thinking were going up,im not trading it as im already long from 9650 trying a long term er (by that i mean mabe a week or more ,not 1 day or less as usual)
I must admit the only thing Ive made so far is intrest but my bet is hanging on in there.

I got a new 30min up attached but can get one on my daily also which is what im trying to trade.

its a fake breakout we will go down and even lower than 9500 ..

it will start going down before the news then after the news come out it will go up . or it will stay like this until the news come then big time down.

i will add more short every 20 or 30 pips above 9600

thats just my opinon ....

thats an accurate opinion.. and thats what i am doing.. i am adding shorts.. i am scalping but have in another account Shorted for till 1.9500 levels..

Northern Rock-style crisis 'would cause chaos in Eurozone'



A Northern Rock-style disaster would cause "chaos" if it happened in the Eurozone, the European Commissioner for Internal Markets admitted last night.

In a speech to the Society of Business Economists, Charlie McCreevy warned that with 44 financial regulatory institutions on the Continent it was almost impossible to conceive of how they would unite to combat a potential Europe-wide bank run.

Per my other two posts this week (links below) so far so good.

Yes, there was a little room to the down side left, but for the most part I think
that a .25 I R cut from GBP is already priced in. We may see some slight
movement south, but I think it will be very slight – maybe 9550, but probably
not much below 9570 before announcement. Some scalping may be all we
get for the most part until then. Should be a quiet / boring evening (PST).

If cut is the anticipated .25, then there will be a quick drop to maybe 9500 at best,
followed by a run back up past 9600 and continuing to 9700 / 9750 by Friday close.

If the cut is the feared .50 then you will see G/U go south past 9500 to maybe the
9400 area before recovering the first part of next week to around 9600 area.

The numbers from the US have not been good and won’t be turning around for at
least a month or so. Not many jobs – especially construction during the winter
months, so job market should show signs of improvement come spring time. Until
then G/U and E/U should have the upper hand. The last 2/3’s of the year should
see more strength for the dollar. At least I hope so.

Not to get political, but one thing that will help the dollar will be if B. Obama
continues to cut the gap against Hillary C. and eventually is elected US Pres.

Then again I could be all wrong – so as always this is just my opinion J

Oh and thanks to JacobT for last night. Because of you I ended up jumping in on
a few scalps (instead of staying out) last night / early am (PST) (both up and down)
for another 125 pips – though I was only trading at .1 lots. Hey, $125.00 is better
then nothing. It will help with my bar tab’s and greens fees when I go to Mexico in
10 days! J

voted on 23 Jan to hold rates as is. IR cut has already been priced in this week so if they cut rates we might see 10-15 pip drop then up BUT if they dont cut rates as voted by MPC meeting then I think 2.0000 is to low!

So if you want to short now!
