I think everyone knows the housing news will be bad already, so not much movement unless its REALLY a bad number or a good one... lets see.

please dont long my friend. when i say short after the big spike, i hope we can get a better entry than now

but now could be also nice for shorts, another event is Bush talking in detail about his bail out plan, probably the dollar could gain some ground, it has done in the past when Bush talks about state of the union in a positive manner.

but who knows, report in 5 mins, is expected to print bad. if this scenario is confirmend, so who knows it coulg go up some dozen pips.
if not, i am shorting gu for at least taret 1.9700.

(live trading book: short 1.9858 [email protected] no SL extreme levels, martingale method)

the possible scenario probably confirms something, this data probably going to be alike in uk which is bad also for the pound, the correlationship between usa and uk housing data is amazing.

like twin economies, fueled by housing bubbles and consumers driven.
some speculators were probably expecting a number under 600k. which could also have helped the pound.

but this number does not.
the clock = eur/gbp. last report also caused collateral damage to pound.

if trade goes against you some pips, relax, it almost always happens.

if price ends up at 9900 I will sell more. big advantage is that there is no need for an immediate stop loss, having no risk of being stopped out and then seeing price go your way. this means emotional stability, and in a way you 'want' price to go against you so you can sell more! great psychological position to be in..

expected to print bad, as retail sector is 1 of the sectors screaming for rate cuts, this gbp seen stregnth probably due to last king words but the uk general public is somehow troubled and need aggresive rate cuts.

if you feel tense, do like me, turn on the ps3, xbox or whatever other system, then relax
and comeback in some hours.

did you know what happened yesterday?

many traders agreed to short yesterday around 1.9850, thne it shoot up straight to 1.9875. some exited their trades there cause fear, the ones who knew what was happening and hold it enough saw 120pips of gainst in a few hours.

1.9855 - 1.9870 is a congestion area. relax.... feel more and more relaxed, lol
