Here's my take on that given the last swing.
It has bounced of the inner .68 mark and is heading south, my target to buy in long would be either the 0 or the -38, the -38 would be better as it would complete the swing cycle.

Nice I have a pierce on my chart of the 61.8 it is forming a tight little pennant in that range so ....something fun!

. I would agree with you on the dside break I putting it in a giant triangle.. that bottom area is a cluster of dmand it seems.
Candles look like the bears are out there eating the bulls lunch.

also the 5 min confirms downside IMO...

What is the other pair we are doing want to have a crack at it? I would like to see what your charts look like.

What a revelation this thread has been even tho I have a LONGGGGG way to go. I noticed today that the EUR/JPY hit the hourly 161.8 Ext. the daily 138.2 the weekly 61.8 and the monthly 38.2. They were all within 21 pips that is if I did my fibs correctly. I expect it to now go back to at least the 61.8 on the hourly and further if it fulfilled it's up movement. I can't wait to watch the PA on this I will try and post my chart, but I have never done it so it may not happen. Now I might be so far out in left field that you can't see my glove, but it is helping me. It went right where I expected it to go for the 1st time in my known history on this planet. It's a MIRACLE in my book! If I had read the thread earlier I would have answered your question about the 162 level as if I know anything worthwhile at all OH MASTER. Please don't be to hard on me as I am stepping out for the first time in new shoes. Critiques are very welcome.

Ok, I'm a bit battle worn after my last fight with the dragon so I'm a bit out of tune. The daily shows promise but I wouldn't be surprised at a bit of a pullback shortly at the .38 in fib level on that chart (sorry, the fib's are upside down but the levels mean the same thing) and I'd wait for that before I'd jump back in personally.

The 15m on my chart has busted past the 168 and is holding steady, there's a lot of momentum going north so it might make for a good short term trade, the third chart is my new set up, if it broke the .68/100 I'd be looking for a run to the 1.38/1.61 again for TP.

I might be long on that trade for a few reasons right now. I think.

I just realized on GU is iis forming a bullish pennant soo..looks like a pup up is in order... might see that 100

I fibbed out UJ which will help with GJ and AJ any J really

I got my fib toasted on this pair last time I just went to fib it and I was getting bulls when all I can see on that pair is bears... I am bias I can;t see in fib

I can;t be right both ways I don't think here are is the way I am looking at it. the yellow fib is my concern. What am I am getting messed up on?

Have I addressed fib clusters? I don't think so. Lets add that to our vocabulary.

A fib cluster is when you have multiple s/r or ext's that end in the same area (within 10 pips or so). The reason for the 10 pips is usually due to the bad data feeds or manipulation of data. We all have to live with bad data so don't anyone whine about it. It is just a matter of fact, but if we know the rules we can play the game. I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the word confluence, so lets just say fib cluster.

Fib clusters add substance to the s/r areas and generally supply I nice hiccup in the move.(which you can trade).

Are you perhaps letting a larger time frame influence the swings in the smaller tf's perhaps??

Do you need to manage client funds? Do you need to graduate from some course? Is there a code of ethics? Do you need to be successful or just professional? An adviser? I know of some self proclaimed professional traders, but I wanted to know if there is something that qualifies a trader as a professional. I have no intention on being one or calling myself one, I just wanted to know

Ok so we watch out for a web of fibs but trade a fib cluster? what about a web of fib clusters? or a cluster of fib webs? methinks I is confuseded..... AGAIN.....

an example would be nice....like the maze I am negotiating on gj right now...sigh....... I think I am starting to understand the whole NO Friday thing...boy life is so much easier if I would just listen the first time

Wow! this is so true. When I started learning to trade it was bare bones, and a lot of intuition after watching where price had been and it's pattern of repetition, but then I took some courses and learned about indicators and things got more complicated or should I say clouded. As time progressed it got too confusing and I had to step away from trading for a month and return with clear eyes, but again the indi's crept back in, and the number of disagreeing indi's can paralyze a sane person. But when my dear, sweet, astute mentor/task master would send me a new chart almost bare, the scales would fall off my eyes and I would be amazed at how clear everything became. I have simplified, but as I continue to read, well a girl just gets excited at the prospects!

Hey Skunny - great to see you here! Do you remember 1st John teaching fibs a year or so ago?
Fib Clusters...there everywhere Mabye we should round up these critters and find out where the Real Fibs are!
