You either need to scale your chart or scale your tool for the chart. I don't use Gann for what Gann necessarily intended. I've taken the knowledge and applied it in a thousand different ways until I picked up on how I could apply the tool. What you've been teaching and how you've been teaching it is superb. I think it's exceptional because it's an "edge". KNOWING what the average bears out there are doing is a good thing....but to simply MIMIC what they are doing is tragically predictable. You've got us doing unconventional things with conventional tools...and that seems to work for ME!

I love searching out these things rather than being spoon fed, just don't make the easter eggs TOO hard to find, eh?

I don;t own any overalls but I DO have some old shirts that I uh.. erm must of shrunk because they don't fit so well in the mid section anymore so this is a PERFECT fix for me! Phew for a second there I thought I would have to start working out or buying new clothes

I also have some old jeans that are tight in the seat but I DON'T think that one will fly hehehe yikes.

hey sizzy....

here is an update on our litle gj experiment..... looks like a penetration but no break...yet... going to zoom down to 1 hour...and see what happens (PS this daily candle aint over yet but.....)

maybe our master can shed some light...but i'm liking the chances of some kind of retracing here...but wouldnt trade her yet even on DEMO! he he)

There is no Gann resource I'm aware of. I looked for over a year (on/off). Which is why I wanted to know how to implement them so bad. I figured if no one knows how to use'em they must be important.

If you want - I'll write a book, but it will be very expensive if your the only one that wants a copy.

Man.....after a failed stint as a Futures trader, after studying and searching FX for a year, after looking at hundreds of indicators and dozens of systems.....I was READY to dump em all and go "naked"........then....kazow!!!

I am humbled by what is being "taught" here.

I encourage those who are likewise "ready" to persevere.....I was confused for weeks and then it clicked for me in a way that seems to work "for me"....still a work in progress.....still not sure if I could even do a good job of articulating what I am doing/seeing.....it is a very fluid thing....following PA and moving with the market flow.....understanding where price wants (needs) to go. Don't want to send anyone in a wrong direction yet....not sure where Skunny wants to go from here....Chart time....open mind.....read, read and re-read the thread. Dwell on the charts that Skunny has posted. There is a method to his "madness".

If anyone looks at the usd/chf on the daily, it looks like a picture perfect set up to go short. I'm short at the penetration and will go short again at the 38 and 61. Of course I will go long based off the hour all the way back up as well.

I'm not sure at this point. It's been a roller coaster and it concerns me a little tiny bit. It's been creating a web of fibs today

This chart highlights something I've been wondering about. The black fib was broken through upwards first, and hit the 138%. However, you kept your fib the same and it broke down and hit the bottom 138%. Why didn't you erase the fib when the first upper 138% was hit and that new high was made at the 138%?

Could it be that unless a 138% is broken, you consider the cycle still active?
