Not sure what god means to other people, but there is something out there, in here and all around us. Further more, evolution doesn't disprove the presence of godly powers, not to me at least. I believe in miracles...everyday!

Actually some micro organisms can completely shut down for hundreds(possibly thousands) of years and suddenly come back to life in a suitable environment.
This has been proven, so yes life can come from something dead. No religious point here just stating a fact.
