DislikedThe cross pairs arnt going to align with fibs as accurately as the major pairs, since they are a result of 2 different pairs. To get a grasp on a cross pair you need to stay current or chart the 2 pairs that make up the cross and trade the cross pair when the 2 that make up the cross give signals in the same direction. If not ,you will find yourself chasing it.Ignored

In your experience, is it better to fib daily, 4hr, then trade 1hr?Ignored
DislikedI've been reading up on Bo's Fibo thread too, a little confusing with all the different names for all the different fib levels but a lot of good info on that thread too.
I think Bo is right in the guppy/beast may be a tough one to use as an example on here. The cross pair is very volatile and may not be as conducive to learning/practicing some of skunny's stuff as one of the 4 majors might be?
I took a look at the guppy chart yesterday and worked with my 4 hr chart fibs a bit and placed three short trades last night all right below the 50fib. The hrly retraced up to 226.34 and then a DBHLC formed and it was all down hill from there. woke up this morning and saw that I could have kept my tp even lower.

DislikedI've seen a few posts about how important it is to find the "beginning" and "end" of a cylce. A cycle doesn't have a starting and ending point. That's why it's called a cycle.
For example suppose I'm researching cyclic market behavior and I find four events that seem to happen in a certain order; A B C and D. Any of those four events could be considered the "start" or "end" of the cycle. Two iterations of the cycle could look like any of the following:
ABCDABCD
BCDABCDA
CDABCDAB
DABCDABC
Those are all the same cycle, each with a different starting point.
Searchers for cycles may be better served by asking questions like,
1. What are the key events that make up this cycle?
2. Do these events always happen in the same order?
3. What is that order?
4. Does each iteration of the cycle have to include every event?
Just my two pips. Did anyone watch the video I posted here a while ago? Here's another one from the same movie. If anyone here finds themselves going around in circles looking for cycles : they may want to consider Sol's advice in this clip:
