I believe the markets have already priced in bad U.S. housing data; very little upside potential left here for the pound. Should the data come out on a positive side though, this might get ugly. And read my post earlier in the thread - the big boys will not be loading up on the sterling anymore the way they used to. Aussie, Kiwi and Euro are the last remaining strong currencies.

there is good buying pressure.
However technically i do see GBP/USD to go up..

Hi all..i sell the gbp (2.0020)..from the top..and now wait for the confirmation of pinbar (around 1.9982)..break or not? let's flip the coin again.If it break then i'll move my sl to bep and trail the profit.

I respect your insightful analysis most of the tme.

In your quote above is your what time frame is your analysis based is it the daily?

And beside, there is an evening star on the 1hr chart frame which portends a looming downfall for the cable as well as divergence on MACD.

I am of the opinion that after the news which i think may have been factored into the market the cable should go down.
