there are no sure trades, you just calculate how much you lose if you lose, and how much you win if you win, and if you 50% lose and 50% win you are a winner as you cut short your losses and let your wins expand. There is no traders who do not lose, have this in mind, just follow the above rule.

I Hate "demo" trading -- it's forms BAD/LAZY HABITS. Use a dime if you have to, to keep your interest, and stay real.

Hi Noble,

If you are waiting for a signal from somebody...it may be a bit late before you get it as you cannot be on your system 24/7.

Why not develop a system that suits you. Simple one that you can follow and then build up from there. You can start again with mini account...like 0.01 lot to rebuild your confidence. You need to be experience to follow the calls from this thread as you may end up loosing more if you dont have a system of your own.

To start with, I can advice you to start with a simple Moving Average crossing system (eg. 18 & 45 EMA). You also need to determine if you want to be a day or swing trader.

Hi Noble,

I guess that you are new to forex and trading as a whole.

Your first start should be to read simple stuff from websites that explains dynamics of trading. You can try reading some of the forums here on FF for newbies and www.investopia.com will also be a good place to start.

Read some of the fundamentals of trading (Basic foundation of trading) and then start to practice on demo. When you start to do this, reading threads like this will then begin to help you.

As an example, Moving Averages (MA) are very powerful tools learnts as part of the foundation of trading. When lower MA crosses Longer MA up, its a sign that price may go up and if it crosses it down, it is a sign that price may go down.

There is a lot to do to get the proper gist of the foundation which is available on this site. I will therefore advice that you go through some of them, practise and ask question. Get a buddy if you can, attend trainings if you can afford it... before getting into it.

Who told you about the 18 & 45, and what's the significance of that? I use the standard 6 and 12 EMA.
