I went long from 1.4518 and closed it for 100 pips. Nice breaks of resistance after resistance today. http://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon7.gif A little retracement is possible soon, just buy again after that. http://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

Judging from price action, it looks like the 1.4750 area would cause good resistance.

Do NOT long now! We've gone up 200 pips in 2 days. Wait for a retracement.

These forums are not really meant to be a signal service nor would I recommend getting involved with one. Your best bet is to read through the forums and learn to trade on your own. There are no short cuts in any endeavor you pursue, so I would do the work needed to succeed. You will be more satisfied in the long run. I can recommend three good places to start here at FF and that would be Jacko's thread, Price Action with the James 16 folks, and the Fozzy methods are proven over time. Good Luck!

I absolutely agree with you. I think it will be better if we all can bounce ideas off one another while forming our directional opinions. Regardins EUR/USD...it has broken te long terms downward trendline and is now trying to claw back down. IMO one should wait for the pair to retrace back to the trendline and then enter long if it shows signs of bouncing off the trendline. However there are a few considerations here that I am not able to solve : 1. What is the price does not get to the trendline. Should we let this trade get away?; 2. What if this turns out to be a false breakout. How does one decide that before it is too late?

i am posting you my view for eur usd, i think that will hit upper resistance 1,4715- 1,4735, then the trend should slow down and make the move back down. but bull positions are still in advantage. Be carefull sellers. For more pairs you can check here

I too think that it is the most possible scenario and that would form a reversed head and shoulders pattern on the daily chart.

I don't understand where people are coming up with a long term "downtrend". The long term trend is up, a short term trend WAS down. We are hitting 1.50. When we hit it is the question.

I think I am in the same boat with you guys. 1.5000 seems to be around the corner, maybe within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Or if we have fundamental news that weakens the dollar, we may have our new years wish granted even sooner.

Eur's been trying to break through 1.4715 for the past 3hrs so perhaps a retrace is due
