How the trade will be during christmas day as it is international holiday? the trading will be going on as usual or totally slow?

there's realy only 2 trading days this week dec-27, dec-28, most broker's will close on dec-24 and don't open up till 1-3am dec-26.
If I Go Broke Trying Then I Will die happy.

I was long at 2.04XX or so and took a loss after about 100 pips, I would have never survived this drop. Now I am long to 2.01XX

Decent video that went through the major pairs and talked about some short covering in GBPUSD that might push up to 2.02. It was first time I saw that website, but I was impressed with the guy in the videos. Try going to main page and click on article about USD BULLS GO ON VACATION.

The most important thing in trading is by far without a doubt, hands down or whatever cliche you want to put here, THE EXIT. Weather you have a profit or loss your exit is the absolute most important factor in trading.

This lesson was paid for by a host of trading mistakes that I have made over 15 years of trading, seeing my most profitable trades become less profitable, my bad trades become worse and my marginal trades become losers

It is very easy to find any supporting reason for the way you think the market will move in your desired direction. That type of thinking must be ignored or you will lose big if you hope. I have said this before, but if you trade you should have an account that you can hedge, period. It is a tool all professional traders use to protect their account when the markets move against them.

if you trade over the holiday period you will regret it. Two things can happen

1) nothing

2) very nasty spikes banging 100 pips in seconds then back down in ultra thin market.

Serious players are not in the market till Monday 7th January and nor should you be otherwise your trading for fun and lose and not to make money.

Im long at 9850, just hoping for a retracement to at least 9950, Im showing oversold on the 4 hour and 8 hour charts, but see some more room on the downside on the daily and weekly charts, 9600 area.... if this fails, then I wont touch longs until 9600. Now, no more chart looking till boxing day while the wife shops. Its time for some rum and egg nogs...
