FYI, I took EUR long at 1.3, *big* pysch level that is revisited for 1st time.. shorted cable to 9300, now long with pretty tight stop.. next support i see at 9180, have a buy order sitting there but i'm thinking retrace...

I'm disappointed for me too on this one... but whatta hell, this NFP sucked my attention here...

Well the one I passed on to Cesar was regarding yen movements. The timing of the movements last night made me look like a genius. As the yen continues to strengthen it'll put pressure on high yielding currencies, aussie and kiwi, to weaken. It was beautiful last night.

As for the rest of today, I believe the gbp is going to spike lower.

Next week is a new animal and we'll deal with it then.....

cable may continue/spike to 50fib and support around 9180 (not sure about today though), eqiv eur level is around 2925.. i'm long eur already, will add a little more there. market has been sitting absorbing the buyers at 1.3/93 which is taking a while but not bouncing..

Am I missing something here?

After NFP, market has gone flatline on the eur and gbp as if the NFP gave them a heart attack. Normally there is movementl, but now all has gone quiescent. What are we waiting on? Or is everybody going home early?

i think they both should continue down a bit more or spike once the level breaks. cable moves more than euro and its further down to the 50fib.. we may bounce the underside of 9335 and head down? yes there may be pips to be made on the downside today still but i'm setting up for longs now.. i had a pending buy order for eur at 2990 for a long time now (even though i trade mostly gbp these days) for revisit of 2980 breakout, decided to slide it up to 1.3 and get in ahead of the crowd..

the reason for the hold up in the market is that these are big levels and lot of buyers to absorb before continuing lower.. with the big whipsaws, reversals, and already big move above us, probably reluctant sellers as well..

Let's see... retracement wasn't convincent so far... less-than-15min charts still diverging from each other - but are aligning down very slowly...

I just don't know how strong a possible push down may be, so I'm keeping low TP....

I've been short since 1.9636 on jan 2nd. have 328 PIPS right now... I expect it to go even lower, but a break above 1.94 will take me on the long side most likely

its trying to break S1 1.9298
lets see if it breaks M1 1.9267

It's a bit complicated and I'm not sure what basis of knowledge about the market you have....
