cant see any reason why cable should not go up.
today if failed miserably the bearish attempts to make a new low.
the upside is just available. its awfull how the usd could not regain the lower 2.0000 area.

buy from the dip can be a good idea.

its simple because its touch fibo line 61.8 @ 2.0227 many times and couldn't break it

man i have same fibo line but i am much up from 61.8 @ 227 with full great candle - that s the way i thought it will go up and up

is my chart and your chart different candle showing?

I have been following this thread for a very long time and up till a few weeks ago it was smooth sailing on the cable, you simply buy on dips, make lot of pips. Well it has finally made a bit of a turn and this is the market that as a long time trader I am used to seeing. At this point you need to use your fibo's, candles, S/Rs, trend lines and other proven methods to make good trades, Hope is not a reason to make a trade.

There is no compelling reason for the cable to go up. All the old reasons are no longer valid. The news now is that the UK is beginning to see the effects of the recent global credit crunch. The BoE has no real reason to raise rates and despite inflation fears, lack of growth and recession will dominate the news. The key levels of support have recently been broken and the fundamentals and technical have all changed. It's a traders dream or nightmare and that depends on how you look at it.

I think big boys moving against the trend.......maybe hunting lot of stops...... they like when we loose.............they thrive on our misery........Look at chart--- today low and made a 1) Hammer candle even it is red( as the wick more than 2 times the body) 2) Second candle from low was a inverted hammer confirmed to go long .After those 2 candles move of about 60 pips a stop hunting move why? as it breached regression line on hourly chart maybe wanted to hit hourly standard devition line......... I think GBP will appreciate so it can breach the support around 2.098 and 2.100. So in my opinion today GBP up bound....... maybe it will change when u.k traders stop for the day.

i tried full zooom and cant see clear all things still

lol, why you calculate a fibo in that way, and less in a 30 min chart.
(also those candles means bullish, fail to make a new low and a reversal candle in the downside)

i just heard fibo was calculated using the lowest and upper point on a trend chart in H4 or daily.
you have to consider the upper point to measure the fibo, not the recent up in M30 i guess no important trader is looking at that fibo so thats worthless.

do you know something? we are not going to touch 1.9850 this week, nor the next.... when every one is suddenly short big players long.
and your bears have been screwing every downtrend test. you are destroying your attempts to go lower with those kind of analisys.

in fact, beware. is being formed and head and shoulders pattern to go upside. or better said, is being built support in 2.0150-2.0200 area.
