FX OPTIONS: Morning Overview - Vols Heavy London, November 30. Little to inspire vols as we head in to the weekend. Spot EUR/USD back up to higher 1.47"s, which has seen implieds lose a little ground this morning. 1m atmf in to the high 8.0"s from a 9.5 peak on Wed"s spot slide to low 1.47"s. 1yr atmf now 8.0 (mid) from highs at 8.35 that day (recall given EUR 500mln at 8.25 yesterday). Risk reversals also a touch softer on the firmer spot tone. Another EUR 50mln 1.4750"s roll off at today"s New York cut and should help to confine the market. Early demand for 1wk atmf USD/JPY Vol in the mid 14"s, having traded 13.0 for Tokyo cut in Asia. US NFP inclusion boosting the premium here. Rest of the curve remains heavy as spot eyes 111.00 barriers (reached new recent highs at 110.88 this morning). 1m atmf given 12.1 from 12.2 in Asia - contract down from 12.6 yesterday and 14.3 Monday. Spot Cable trades higher 2.06"s. GBP 150mln expiry at 2.0600 today and talk of a large 2.0700, which should have more bearing, given current spot trade in high 2.06"s. Big buyer 2wk atmf at 11.0 first thing.
