GBP/USD: US Name Sales Helped Curtail Gains, US Confidence Due London, November 27. US name sales helped to cap cable at highs circa 2.0730 following its earlier break through 2.0700. The rate has since retreated through the figure. A 2.0700 option strike expires tomorrow (Wednesday).
Sterling support points include 2.0669 (European morning low), 2.0648 (yesterday"s NY session base), 2.0604 (yesterday"s floor) and 2.0517 (last Friday"s low).
November"s Conference Board US consumer confidence gauge will be disclosed at 15:00GMT. It is forecast to fall to 91.0, from 95.6 in October.
MPC ultra-dove David Blanchflower is slated to speak about the economic impact of immigration at 16:15GMT today. Blanchflower voted in favour of a 25bp UK base rate earlier this month and last. MPC hawk Andrew Sentance is due to speak at 18:45GMT. Sentance voted in favour of all five 25bp UK base rate hikes delivered between August 2006 and July this

amongst all the heat and speculation going on, saying that the US consumer confidence is gonna hit a 2 yr low, blah blah blah.

But hey. Thanksgiving's just passed, I'm thinking consumer confidence, another emotional factor can be affected by festive seasons too.. and come on.. Xmas's just around the corner, think about it.. lol.. I'm gonna put a short order on this one, I'm a news trader.. So.. 20pip S/L..

All i hope.. Is for GU to go skydiving without a parachute again..

US TECHS: S&P Outlook; Does Citi Injection Change Pattern? Boston, November 27. The injection of $7.5 bln in convertible equity units (11% yield, convertible into shares from $31.83 to $37.24) by the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority has put a halt on the free fall like nature of Monday's trade. The positive equity news comes at a critical time as the S&P (monthly cash) was resting at the close on an almost 5-year trend line at around 1407.
The big question is whether this news is enough to break the pattern that has been seen for weeks of selling into morning strength and going with afternoon weakness. This test will come this morning and to be successful SPZs must surpass the Globex high of 1428.60, and then the congestion zone of 1431- 1435. If prices fail again then the Globex low of 1406.30 (and Monday's low 1407) will come into play with 1400 as an early target

Spread's only 3 Pips for me..
& for your info, when the news hits, esp for the US CC..

The price's gonna spike.. then go up all the way or dive..
S/L's just a "Just in case the market goes so fast you cant close your position as fast.." & u kill urself with a margin call.
