Talks are oil $120, Gold $1,000 before anything else.

BTW, last rate statement was dismissed like garbage. Market is now demanding more cuts, pricing it in, f*-off the rest.

Guys, dollar is not dead yet..... see what happen if American have a war with Iran.
Actually I think its not in thier benefit for many reasons :

First:
Iran is an oil producing country and attacking it would mean higher oil prices which drives a lower USD.

Second:
The middle east controls most of the world production and all of that production is sent to the world through the arabian gulf sea from UAE, Saudia Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and kuwait. (Check world map)
Iran covers almost 50% of that see so if a war breaks iran threatens to cut all oil supplies from the world.

Third:
Iran is of the strongest power near the middle east so I can guarantee you the war is gonna take at least a couple of years to finish and America can't handle a shortage of oil supplies for that long.

Fourth:
Everybody knows about the nuclear reactor Iran is developing so if USA starts a war with Iran who knows what could happen.

I think that the US wanted China to drop $$$'s in order to weaken $ @ the same time, unload their problem (Yuan) onto the Europeans.

Thi figure may never come. Dow futures is poiting -160 already.

This could, however, be a bumping day since most of the jitter in the Stock Market is about one company only (GM). This can inspire bottom fishers in the afternoon...

I dont think BoJ would agree to a strong JPY. They will intervene just like they did last mid August.

Well it's easy. People are capable of learning. So naturally, right after an example of how an account is blown by shorting one of the strongest trending pairs of the last 5 years was posted, people go and seek to copy the best example available in order achieve the same success of blowing their accounts and short the uptrend in turn.

As for being short USDJPY - yea, 112.5 is a great place to short, one should always sell chart lows and buy chart highs so as not to risk actually having any room left to move to. Preferably do it on the same day the average daily range has already been exceeded by over 50% so as to ensure that has enough energy to snap back like a rubber band as well.

Or, if you want to make money instead of lose it, do the opposite of all the above.
