Like I always say to myself when I read analysts...it's not hard to predict higher targets in an uptrend...because the trend goes on, the prices get hit...you can never be wrong...just keep mentioning higher prices, let the market prove it and you're suddenly this great analyst

See, the real point is not calling the prices....the point to us all here is actually being in a TRADE when the prices are HIT, that's what the hard part is. Not calling out numbers. Trading them =)

That's why I think a lot of those analyst/"news" posts are not much use to a trader...because you need to get your own entry and trade done anyhow, no?
They won't do that for you just because they mention nice price levels

USA should be going into foreclosure by the end of the year LOL


Just makes me wonder what will happen to the rest of the world economies, once ppl give up on USA, being the largest PIG of consumption on the globe which is now BUST. Global meltdown?

The nice thing is that cable is holding high ahead of the news and already showing blown up indicators....

I'm intending to sell this pair on rallies just after the news, in case of a cut.

Or just short and forget in case of a no-change.

Same for euro.

How you guys planning the trade?

Not in "that one", but I'm in "another one"...but I can't tell you how annoyed I was yesterday when my 2.0567 long order was left unfilled...by 1 pip :o

And this after I had originally had it at 2.0565 and thought "nah, better add another 1-2 pips, Oanda vs MT4 is always off a little bit"...great

I just have GOT to stop cutting things close


Still, showing triple digit pips again, so I calmed down...(Did I mention I got the order to do some of bravados talk in his stead? That's all I'm doing! ;p)

GBP/USD: Another Option Barrier at 2.0760 London, October 31. We have been told that there is an exotic option barrier at 2.0760, in addition to the triggers at 2.0750. Cable scaled a new 26-year peak six pips shy of 2.0750 in early European trade, as the pound rose on the back of stronger-than-expected Nationwide UK house price numbers.
2.0760+ option barriers reside at 2.0800, 2.0900 and 2.1000. The exposure at 2.0900 includes One Touch options carrying a cumulatively estimated GBP 9mn payout which are slated to expire next month (Nov 14, Nov 19 & Nov 30).
October"s GfK UK consumer confidence gauge will be unveiled at 10:30GMT. Forecast: minus 8, from minus 7 in September
