Im afraid i might get replies in languages much too foreign for me to understand...PS Cable(Yen mode) is not so widely traded as Cable(Dollar Mode)

Yeah its true.. you go to Japan and learn their language then create the thread... should be no problem

UK news was pretty benign. Rate currently teasing the top of hourly channel. As a reference, EUR/USD has been unable to break resistance also. We may need to see the US input before a direction can be established. With the holiday coming I am taking a wait and see perspective. I am looking for a substantial move before the end of the day. If we only knew which direction!! Also, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to each of you.

Another way to look at it is if you check past history once the pound moves 60 pips beyond it's opening the chances of it reversing or very very low. It opened at 9620 so again breaking trend line is 9680 or so. Thats long time to wait for entry but if you are sure it makes it easy. I am short myself.

Talking of being sure. Think about this if you trade one standard lot ($10) you move 100 pips thats $1000. But if you enter a trade under a very coservative approach you do it with 3 standard lots ($30) well all you need is 33 pips to get the same results. Obviously 33 pips is "easier" then 100 pips. But reading James 16 thread (not trying to put words in his mouth) he does that. Nice approach.

Which, go for more or for less pips?
As can be seen in some charts he has trailed bigger trades for weeks and pips are accordingly.

I would say his thread is more about the setups of PA than any money management advice. That's a bit more Fijis department

Personally I've found out that you don't want to continually close trades for the same size as your stops but let them go at least 2-3 times as long.
If they don't have the potential to go a multiple of the stop, then why did you enter the trade?

Nevermind.. I keep my long position with tight stop.. i guess price my go up because trendline broke. My target will be at 9694 or 9768

I look at all time frames + MACD, then RSI on 30 minute chart but the most important bit is the shrewd guesstimate as to how can the big boys take most money from us little guys.

Got stopped out on SHORT. Now seeing some pretty positive LONG signals. Am I trading the GBP/JPY?!?! Kidding! LONG looking good!
