Friday's US data >>>>> dollar strength, moves cable lower, just like the previous two Fridays (NFP and CPI). See previous posts mentioned above.

Its going up but you know how the european session moves one way fot 30 to 60 minutes and then the trend for the day goes in the opposite direction.

Ok it's game time I'm wanting to short the cable but they have news coming out and that will throw a wrench in things but once it settles down I'm thinking about shorting for sure as US is expected to have some good news and based on the chart it would appear that overall the cable is headed back to 9460s area.
If you can't produce some results and make some serious PIPS, YOU'RE FIRED!

this is classic negative reversal with RSI Higher momentum incapable of bringing price over previous high. As long as 1.9696 holds, we should see a nice move down below 1.9500. See what happens!

Samething holds true today in regards to the averages. Its high actually on my chart yesterday was 9696 and it hit 9558 for a 138 pip difference between the high and low. Once it establishes it's daily trend it does have it's common tendancies.

Quoting goodthings
according to the chart and with an established high of 9699 and the average daily movement for the pound being 138 pips from the high to the low its reasonable to think 9561. Around 120 pip movement is common which 9679 a 100 pip move the pound has done 73% of the time and 90 pips or more 80%.

I know the chart seems premature, that is why I stated that the condition must hold that 1.9696 not be broken.

Honestly Leugimp, i dont think its going anywhere near 1.9696. I think that the most that it will go is maybe the 50's or into the 60's

my chart said 9648 is daily high so far if that's the case we could be looking at around 9510 if it hits its daily average of 138 pip difference between high and low. Thats just based on what I call average statitistical probablility. Technically it could be differenct. Any way not to complicte things it normally moves 90 or more pips

I think you're right. Right now the price is at the 61.8% retracement of the yesterday's high and low. Also at the upside TL of the downtrend channel on the 4h chart.
