The USD has pared all its recent gains due to unclouded risk appetite, and is trading close to all-time lows against the EUR, despite the upcoming G7 meeting which should have led to a more pronounced reduction in risk, says Commerzbank. With G7 now seen as unlikely to find a common line on the major currencies in its communiqué (except possibly on the Yuan), a USD correction ahead of this weekend meeting seems increasingly unlikely. Says this means EUR/USD could retest the all-time highs around 1.4280, with good support provided between 1.4160-40

As I said before the lack of human rights in ANY part of the world angers me, and yet in this modern world human rights comes only to those that can afford it $$$$

India was nuclear way back in 1974 and has been using it for electricity purposes only, and that is the sole objective.

India also has the 3rd largest Army in the world, yet adopts peace despite having had to face terrorism for more than 50 years now.

Wiping pakistan would take less than 24 hours, but they are our brothers, just the deeds of 10 people does not mean everyone is bad.

Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said there is less than a 50% chance the U.S. will fall into recession and that the dollar won't fall drastically, the Maeil Business Newspaper reported Thursday.

The paper also quoted Greenspan as saying the central banks of all countries should fight inflation because there are bubbles "all over the place."

Greenspan said excess liquidity stemming from low interest rates has resulted in housing market bubbles in 20 to 30 countries, according to the report.

However, Greenspan acknowledged it was impossible to deflate bubbles in stock and property markets strictly with monetary or fiscal policies, such as interest rate hikes, the paper said.

He was quoted as saying there is an inflation alert in China, thus the country should resist any political pressure to lower interest rates.

Greenspan was speaking via satellite from Washington as part of a forum hosted by the Maeil Business Newspaper, which was the only media outlet allowed to cover Greenspan's comments. Other media were excluded from the event.

It angers me, too. But if we go a little deeper, this "human rights" turns into hypocrisy.

Brazil says it doesn't approve what is going on in China, while our people here die in the public hospital's hallways, die from loose bullets in Rio, slavery in sugar cane production. $150 minimum salary.

"But we don't torture!!!" Cīmoooon...

What I mean is, every country can critisize the other. But when it comes to look at their onw belly, things get messy, don't they?

Better-than-expected earnings are poping from everywhere today.

Nokia, Continental, Pfizer, E-Bay. That's good for the stock market and with the weak dollar, carry trades have to follow suit via majors...

I think we are having 0500 and 1.43 today.

Thoughts?

strong earnings from JPM Chase were not enough yesterday to sustain a gain against very poor housing data. I would consider the major bank's boasting more important than hardware producers.

Dow corrected to the 23% fib (12.5K - 14.2K) yesterday in a very techincal move after the housing data.

This level is likely to spur buyers temporarily with the good earnings. 13.950K is now the nut to crack on the way up. Another failure can call for further correction, imo.

Right now, all futures are green, currencies are following suit.

i am short from 2.0470, with a SL at 2.05. that's what i see on my chart.
i guess i'm the only one with a bearish view at this moment. but unless g-u breaks 2.05... my charts say it's going down.

I think everyone is quite sure USD is negative again today and we're just looking for the best currency to put against it.
CHF is killing USD.
JPY just broke below pin bars on 4hr which is huge IMO.

I'm not short "Scrat" but what you said makes a lot of sense...at DailyFX they have a cable chart with a little up and a HUUUUGE drop to 1.96.

Don't know why but i think it's going down as a normal corection to the 4h channell and i think in 2-3 hours i go short after corection is obvious.
Risk Less in the next transaction after a Win.
