Well, the last rate hike was expected. This time, the expectations are for a no-change. I really don't know what to expect from a surprising hike..

Specially because even a huge hike, say 0.5bp, is a fart in the carry trades rate differential hurricane...

Either way, this is not a good time to short Yen

All it would do is flush out weak longs, unless they hint at future hikes.

lol.... RICS... signs of the british housing market beginning to slow on the back of the last few hikes.. its got to stop some time, houses are too expensive here !

nice if you bought before the boom.. tough for people trying to get on the ladder.. I wanted to see if the housing market makes a big correction. It might just stay at a where it is for many years, till wages do some catching up. Repossessions keep going up here too.. Cool.. I didn't know u were a brit too bullrock.. seems to be a lot here :-)

Carry trades fuelled the move up to 240 and now is driving cable down after the news... Right now GJ is at a expected supportive trendline in the 4H. Letīs see if it holds...

My GJ short at 240 is so small, that there is no point in taking 100 pips profit LOL.... SL at B/E and will see where it takes me... If UJ takes out 117 later on, Iīll add to shorts.

Iīm not ruling out the 235 zone
