well I don't remember really, being an Indian, I'm very li'l concerned about news, holidays etc etc, I'm all good as long as the charts are kicking some moves.

so if its a working US and no movement, thats actually more pain here

it was goodtimes for me, i told all my traders friends to put down that turkey pound is about to make a move they told me to shut up and enjoy the holiday's so i did all the way to the bank.

That's harsh and insensitive. Please stop making fun of other people's style. This is wrong.

I've made a buck trading in this fashion already, ok? Although it was scotch instead of Vodka.

Well yes maybe.. But this is not how I am trading... I mean weeklies/dailies yes but base my decision differently. Too me it looks like bullish (higher high, higher low, and the mid is higher than the median of the previous bar) and so I am long. If it falls back, like you said, I will just add to my positions... My SL is way down somewhere several hundred pips below.

A weekly bar can be 300-800 pips so a 100-200 pips drop will not tremble me...

Thanks that where I was on Friday but my SL was only 80pips and I got caught out by that up/down rush. I am just looking at entering a new long position at the right time, but now it looks if cable breaks 400 it will go further. I'll wait a bit and see if it breaks. Thanks

The problem with SL .. I am working on strategies that do not require SL (just maybe a catastrophic one - 500 pips or more).... Try to minimise your exposure say 2% 500 pips loss. I know that is not the style of many because they want to have quick, insane gains but believe me if you leave your SL large a noise like that will not kill you... If you trade from dailies a 100 -150 pip SL is the smallest I recmmend (based on my calculations)

So, okay... 1% is the money maker... I tell you a little secret, IMHO their edge lies in the cutting edge money management.... And that is what I am researching now.....

I have been in the 54% then in the 36% then again in the 54% then now I am in the 5% and fighting to move into the 4% and eventually into the 1%

I find your posts very informative and educative, keep around mate, assume u r talking out of stats, no guess/beliefs, I've been believing below so far:

5% make a killing (no. of traders shrinking in this category, includes insiders)
5% live somehow, good when reviewed on annual basis
90% lose on monthly and annual basis (no. of such traders is exploding)
