I am waiting for cable to shot to 2.0500 to unlock my hedging position. Don't think it gonna happend anytime today

My advice if it drops close you short and put an SL to the long. When long in profit by 20-40 pips put SL to breakeven and ride the market.. Get rid of your hedging habit this is no good.

Check Jacko's thread in the discussion area. He could be your mentor He is also talking about anti-hedging strategies..

Say trend is up. Say you buy and put SL @ 30 pips. Say your SL is hit then you leave the price move against you further 30 - 100 pips. Then you reenter where you have entered originally... if the price moves in your favour...

If this simple technique has worked for him for over an year, I would say its worth trying, I would say any strategy which has nothing to do with news should be tried n tested in practice account at least.

Errrrr... my wife seems bz with her MBA study. Hmmm i divert my attention to the trading again

On my 15mins chart... frm today high and low... seems like the Cable is testing resistance 61.8% Fib 3 times. Will it break and shoot higher???

Buy when price goes up (trendline, SR whatever) . Move SL to BE when I think so. Close part position when I think so. Close all position when I think so.

I dont really see the logic behind this strategy. If your stoploss (the "point of no return" from a technical point of view under which you want to be in that market no longer) is actually hit, why would you want to re-enter again at that very same level? plus, what keeps price from falling once again upon re-entry? I mean, that level was breached already, wasnt it, so why would it hold the second time around?

I am sorry, but I dont see the sense in such re-entry strat.

I have no idea. I haven't red his thread completely. I just like the idea behind the simplicity and is based on the fact the EU is constantly trending in one direction. I just wanted to point to a couple of helpful advice (like the anti hedging thing) that is at the beginning...

Hmmm yeah simplicity is good but it's got to have some common sense built into it too. I cannot see that common sense in that strategy. Can anyone more familiar with it please elaborate further?
