there is so many traders trying to trade in a market like this but don't have a system that can handle a market like this, instead of trying to trade a market like this you should be watching and adjusting your trading system to accomadate a market like this or just stay out.

thats pretty much the new standard these days - wait for an hour for the reaction to come through - Man o man - data is so screwed up and this was before the reate cut - pretty much says that Big Ben knew how bad it really is and he also knows how bad it will be in days to come - more rate cuts for sure.

of course majority, maybe above 90% of traders lose in the long run, whether its this type or that type of market, either way your statement is too raw and subjective.

Firstly, there are scalpers, who have nothing to do with news or trends, they just make 5 - 10 pips a day and are happy, gamer types.

then there are long term investors, who don't care if cable fell 100 - 200 pip up or down (1:10 type)

there are still many winners

Yes I cant handle this stuff at all....no dithering, no uncertainty - they rush off one way with certainty and then rush the other way with certainty

all this constantly changing certainty = uncertainty

oh well off to the DOW - at least they are certain that everything is just great....

90% of traders lose because of overtrading, i know a trader that has a good trading system that gives him strong signal when he trades it it makes him money now this same system in this market right now is loosing money i ask him how stong is the signals he says they been weak for the last month he haven't seen a strong signal in a month but yet he still taking trades on those weak signal, this all goes back to know your system, your system wasn't build to withstand all market conditions, there trend trader staying out now because they no they will loose money, i:e they know there system.

The number of trades has nothing to do with being sucessful or not. Whats the difference between the 95% to the 5% of people who succeed?
(and this ratio for some odd reason aplies to almost everything)


The answer is in the mind my friend, the 5% of people who suceed in any business or anything in life succed because they know they can and believe they can. And all their thought and energy is focused on acomplishing their GOALS (Biggest word for achieving success is GOALS) but first you must be able to say I CAN. This is 100 times more important than the best education and the best trading plan.

there so many who know they can and believe they can till there bankrupt, then they do it over and over, some of those 95% or repeat offenders, lol
