Yup, now cable is suddenly strong as steel but Euro is still weak. What current good news made that happened? I am confused too.

Market had it 5.5% toppish for 2007 early this year. We are at 5.75% and now the core indicator (CPI) is below UK's target of 2.0%.

Whether or not this financial turmoil is going to speed up a rate cut, is still being debated. But further, say 1 or 2 CPIs around 2.0%, and the market's going to start pricing in a rate cut cycle for 2008 and beyond...

And this is no good news, huh? If a UK and US rate cuts start being priced in simultaneously, we will go on here like blind rats in a shootout.
...well i must agree, interesting that those 2 economies which went into "war on teror", are now strugling to not be crushed...if a housing market is ok, then economy have no problems, otherwise it should, and aperantly it does have ...and wats even more interesting is that Mr. Sarkozy doesnt like the euro to be so high, (1.41 is just 2 much for him) so he is tightening relations over iran multo-publicly ....interesting as hell....no wonder the ECB finds her self in boomerang position....

Maybe if they allowed all the displaced Iraquis to come to america or the U.K it would solve the housing crunch, but as they say, No chance in hell.

I think the cable just doing correction. The downtrend still in progress.

In the same article on bloomberg yesterday (or cnbc, can't recall), there were analysts saying euro 1.45, other saying 1.38 by yearend....

Unfortunately this is a time of indecision. And it's going to be this way until Fed acts (cut, no-cut, whatever). There's no way to understand Bernanke's mind via his BS-ish speeches....

there's no need to take a lost, when in dought stay out, simple as that, there no need to be in the market everyday if you don't know if you should buy or sell, that right there should tell you something, stay the fuk out.
