I noticed. Interesting is that housing data was as lousy as expected. So was considered "good news that it wasn't worse"

thats a funny bunch, that wallstreetbunch. i read yesterday on cnnmoney.com some kind of delusional analyst saying something like "if we are heading towards recession, the american consumer will have to be tapped out, and i just dont see that happening" and something like "consumers are looking strong, heading in to christmas" that guy need councling.

of course it will come just after my short gets bounced out - it always does

What I do is reading more than one - actually more than 10 - analysts. If they are diametrically opponents, I drop them all as garbage.

You know, we have the tendency of reading and trusting those saying the same as we think. That's bad idea.

I can search many posts written by me, saying that stock traders are the dumbest tail of all financial markets.

Its not about going against the logical sense. Is just that, they have real poor knowledge about economics.

If an Atom Bomb destroyed New York, they would buy stocks because the Fed would probably cut more.


For example, a few minutes ago on Bloomberg, a stock trader on the floor said something like...

"hey... Europe is starting to feel pain, we saw today the confidence dropping just like with ours"


How stupid is this guy to compare a business confidence that drops 1 single point, remaining above 100, and US consumer confidence that drops SIX points to the lower in two years.

This guys are really inteligent...

It really doesnt matter who says what, and who is bigger idiot. What matters where the price is heading, whether you have positions and how the phukk you manage them.
Coz "the who says what" wont pay your bills and wont put bread on your table and you wont to be able buy condoms (or pills in case of ladies) to *** at last.
