LOL... Of course I go techis in times like this. And as I said before, Jacko's thread is the only one (that I know) where you see more profit takings than whinnings. This strategy is a killer.

HOWEVER, I can't afford staying out of the market for like 2 months before euro resumes trading, so I take some chances going short at it.

Euro is not the kind of pair you can go for quicky daily pips. You'd better take a position and wait until your homerun comes. In the meawhile it doesn't push you to annoying huge drawdowns....

For somebody looking for cardiovascular health preservation, like you said you are, it's a good call..

i reckon we are in for a bit of a long pop but nothing sustained with that fresh memory - like the DOW with its fresh memory of 12500 - i love it when they are jittery

That could be a strategy.. IMHO, its not about how many pips you make off the market every month, its abt how percentage wise, how much you have made month on month IMHO, the amount of leverage is also important.

i fella i know take a 1:10 leverage, make 40pips a day on 1 standard contract

20 days a month, given he has some good days some bad, but on a small 10k account thats serious dough compounding on a monthly basis, he ups the contract when he has fallen below 1:10.

discipline. if market goes extra pips in his direction, he locks the 40pips and goes to sleep. lol...

and like that wouldnt be enough, some advisers from companies, are so convinced the market will boom to the upside, (i had a call from AT&T, Apple ipod cooperant etc...) ,...that i strongly believe the thing might turn backwards....Uff....hell no, 051 i dont answer any more...dam it....
