I don't believe that cable will follow fiber down even if there is pressure on fiber. cable isn't overbought like fiber is.

That's why I'm avoiding taking a position in cable. Specially if EURGBP decides to retrace from its bullrun via cable longs or mixed cable stalling / euro shorts.

Technically, euro shorts are safer to take than cable whatever the direction, imo.

There's no fundi or techi to suggest what would be a trade to take at 0200 (if such) - long as a bottom, short on breach

HOWEVER,

Today's cable can form a pin-bar at close below 0212, what would set up a short for tomora.

look at the candle on the cable and the fiber.
personally i looking for fiber to go below 1.4000 first, after that we could see more upside potential on the the euro pair..

then again, i could be wrong. lol...

I agree on that. i closed off my cable short taking 20 odd pips.. am only holding on to my fiber shorts

Although I am not a fan of H&S formation or looking at anything below 15 minute, but on a 5 minute chart there is a H&S (multiple shoulders bump, bump) that is projecting a drop down to at least 2.0165 area.

Also somebody mentioned evening star formation and looks like the popular PinBar if close stays down nears the day's low.

The only thing is the price action off the day's high has been slow and predictable. Nothing like a big down move begiining. Maybe tomorrows US existing home sales and consumer confidence will get things moving?

At least 12 of the UK and Europe's biggest banks have now decided not to buy the Newcastle-based lender, according to the Sunday Times.
The paper says banks have estimated that it would require too much capital - as much as £20bn - to successfully refinance Northern Rock.
No-one from Northern Rock was available for comment.
