Cable Update (GBPUSD)

If the upper line is broken, the downtrend will reverse to an uptrend. A break of the lower line will mark the end of the upward correction.

At the moment, the third wave of the downward correction on H4 is forming.

On the GBP/USD 4-hour chart, there have been four consecutive strong bearish candles starting from the TDI-Hi level; those who have been bullish up to this point need to be cautious.

Once there's a lower high on H4 inside of the selling zone, cable is bearish.

...the Israel-U.s/Iran-Lebanon thing continues to rumble on. I think to some extent, (like the Russia/Ukraine thing has become,) there is 'war weariness' in the markets, and they have priced it in. Of course Trump particularly can still affect prices/markets, but not as much, and obviously the markets remain @ the mercy of individual events, within the prevailing whole geo-political theme. Ie; Technicals are back, if ever they went away!

My take on DXY is to just wait a bit for upside rejection. I could or am probably wrong tho

My GU play will be to keep short into 1.3340 as I expect the DXY to push higher. EU short target 1.1350

The GBPUSD price action on the daily time frame printed a doji-like candlestick with a relatively long wick and small body, i.e., a bearish pinbar, that closed at the 1.33925 horizontal resistance. Recent technical prints favor bears more than bulls.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

On the GBP/USD 30-minute chart, the market is in a squeeze, caught between conflicting forces on both the upside and downside—will a resolution be reached before the New York session? On the 4-hour chart, the price is near the TDI "Lo" level, but there are no signs of a reversal yet.

Looking at the USD/JPY daily chart—price action, gaps, and sub-oscillators—everything appears to be pointing downward, but it’s unclear for now.
It won't be too late to make a decision after the price breaks through either the support or resistance level.

Friday's buy limit activated targeting last week high.
