Olympian David Hearn indicted in Reflecting Pool destruction of property case

 

1. U.S. Olympian canoeist David Hearn was indicted by a grand jury in Washington, D.C., for destruction of property in connection with willfully damaging sealant in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
2. U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro announced the charge at a press conference.

There are still a lot of (rich) child rapist running around in the US.
Time to go after them first I think instead of waisting time on this idiot case ?

2. The next day, Trump posted that it was a “GREAT TIME TO BUY!!!” before announcing a partial tariff retreat that helped send the S&P 500 up roughly 9.5% in one of its best days on record.
3. Trump’s April 8 buying spree focused heavily on mega-cap tech stocks, including Apple, Alphabet, Amazon, Microsoft and Nvidia, which rebounded sharply after his tariff reversal.

“There are no conflicts of interest,” spokesperson Anna Kelly told CNBC, calling the scrutiny a “tired narrative” pushed by Democrats.


On April 8, the broad S&P 500 index finished that session below the 5,000 mark and within inches of the threshold for a bear market, a term used to describe a 20% drawdown from a recent high. Over the four-day run alone, the closely followed stock market benchmark tumbled more than 12%.

The next morning, minutes after the opening bell on April 9, Trump helped the market abruptly turn around.
Trump posted on Truth Social, the social media platform he owns, that “THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO BUY!!!” Later that day, Trump announced he was walking back some of the market-roiling tariffs he had announced a week prior.

The S&P 500 climbed around 9.5% in that session, marking one of its best days on record. The benchmark has cumulatively surged around 50% since April 8, 2025.

Such actions raise serious concerns about political pressure being exerted on an independent international judicial institution.

No court or prosecutor should be threatened or intimidated for carrying out their legal responsibilities.

The rule of law must apply equally to everyone, regardless of their political position or influence.
