Trump hits back at critics as Iran peace deal fuels debate over U.S. concessionsPresident Donald Trump on Thursday lashed out at criticism over the terms of the interim U.S.-Iran peace deal, saying those who think he hasn’t been tough enough on Tehran were either “jealous, bad people or stupid.”

His comments come shortly after the U.S. and Iranian president signed a 14-point memorandum of understanding to extend the ceasefire, including in Lebanon, and reopen the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz.

The deal sees both sides commit to further talks to reach a final agreement over the next 60 days and includes a $300 billion plan for Iran’s reconstruction as well as the removal of “all types” of U.S. sanctions against the Islamic Republic.

1. Vice President JD Vance defended President Donald Trump’s interim peace deal with Iran at a White House news conference.
2. Vance said that the United States is not paying the Islamic Republic and that any economic benefits for Iran depend on full compliance with the agreement.
3. His comments came as the White House faced Republican backlash over whether Trump gave Iran too much in a 14-point memorandum of understanding that includes sanctions relief, access to frozen funds and a proposed $300 billion reconstruction plan.

This "agreement/deal" is (al)ready to collapse.

What I find remarkable that he has still 37% approval, in a country that was once regarded as an educated country.
Likely because Trump appeals most strongly to voters with a combination these four characteristics: white, rural, less than college education, and (to a lesser degree) male.

No wonder Trump says he "loves the poorly educated". They're the ones dumb enough to vote for him.

He's likely gone blame Vance now as he promissed yesterday.
