Seen that, too..

The heart of the problem here is that NO ONE knows how bad this subprime setor is right now. No fund says "it looks like we are going down next month". When they pop with bad news, the damage is already done.

i think that they could pay the car loan with no problem, the problem is they got 3k+ ccm, which eats gasoline +50% compared with other cars...thats the real problem....oil eaters....long oil, long...

I'm short small portion til further clue, SL 0180. Looking at 0166 like a hawk (monthly open).

I'm tending towards a bearish month after this disgusting kickoff for the upside.

I went long at 1.9884 but then i trade on the weekly... on 15082007. looks like before the 14th Sept big day, we'll see many hammering down before new highs are breached. Sell on rallies is what i hear over cnbc.

Maybe shorting is better. My Stochs, MACD and BBands are showing strong bearish trend for today. But as somebody just said before: price is hitting strong supports.

Off the topic, I can suggest one solution to all these problems. Dethrone Bush and Dick Cheney and place someone good. Sooner than later things will start improving. I cannot understand why US public chose him again ?

UK is good to remove Tony Blair, maybe elections are close there in US and will help things get back on track. BUT of course US will take several decades to recover from the harms Bush and his Govt has brought to US and the world.

Maybe just after the NYSE starting bell the market will deny or confirm the bias.

If NYSE remains bearish (i think it will not) all carry trades going to fall again; pulling Cable down with them.

Complementing, BOE and ECB hiking is not expected shortly, mainly due to this subprime / liquidity problem. Some other weak CPI in the UK and the sentiment that 5.75% will be toppish for 2007 is likely to hit the market... Worse if the "hike cycle" is considered done...

Just food for thought.

Which makes it all the more difficult to predict a trend....and if they start popping..then more folks will be selling.....we could be in for some scalping times until this settles down...or at least for this month.

My projected low today for EUR is 1.3540-50, which is not reached yet, this means that we might find cable to breach the 2.0119 and drop more down, that's why I'm thinking to hedge now, which is not my strategy, but I must be very careful and know exactly where to put my SL

As I mentioned the week has keys as well, 2.0119 was one of them, it is not one of the main, this figure is lying just below the daily key 2.0137 by almost 18 pips, a bounce off 2.0119 (weekly key) and an hourly close above 2.0137 (main daily key) MIGHT change the bias of the pair for this day, and that's what I'm looking for right now, but since the 2.0137 was broken today, we didn't see any hourly close yet above this figure

You can't pay your car loan...if you can't get to work.....

And hopefully gas doesn't start to rise again..it's already starting to climb again.......

And please don't let a hurricane hit the oil sites........we are in the heart of hurricane season....
